It was late summer of 2019. The rental car rolled slowly through the streets of Laguna Beach, California, the occupants enjoying the beautiful homes just blocks from the Pacific Ocean.
In many parts of Southern California it is not uncommon for the homes to be spaced quite close together. Anyone from other parts of the United States will agree.. Land is precious, especially so close to the water. A fascinating home with a grass driveway came up, declaring its unusual beauty.
And then, as the car rounded the bend, a vision appeared. “Oh my God” said the passenger. The driver did not react in time and within a second the passenger was flinging the door open and rolling out like a Hollywood stuntman!
He rolled once and sprang to his feet like a cat just in time to be face to face with a beautiful Volkswagen microbus from the late 1960s. “Oh my God” is all that he could say.
